Pats Pena introduced me to Fábio Magnoni: "He has been a long time
Mozilla volunteer and contributor, and have helped Wikimedia a lot in
Brazil for the Campus Party and more! He wanted to get in touch with
someone who is organizing the Wikimania as the Mozilla group would love
to help with the upcoming Hackathon."

Fábio, it would be great if you would join this list
<wmf-outreach-staff at lists.openhatch.org>.

Of course Mozilla engineers are welcome to come to the pre-Wikimania
hackathon: https://wikimania2012.wikimedia.org/wiki/Hackathon

My question is: what would be the goals Mozilla would like to achieve by
concentrating on Boot2Gecko and related projects at the hackathon? If I
know the goals then I can help suggest whether Mozilla should lead a
tutorial/training, a sprint, or something else. Thanks!

Hi Sumana and Pats,

Nice to e-meet you :) and thanks Pats :)

I would like to know if you are already in touch with someone from
Mozilla Foundation.
But today we had a discussion about Wikimania, because you'll have a
hackathon and I was part of Mobile project and it was based on WebApp
using HTML5.

As we are having the Boot2Gecko project to be released and it is based
on WebApp, we would like to know if Mozilla could join Wikimedia with
hackathon and provide some engenieers and developer engagement team to
Wikimania.

Unfortunately I will not be at the Wikimania :(

Best,
Fábio
