Hi,
Please forgive me if this is not the correct place for me to send this
query. I am interested in getting an active python user group going in
Cincinnati and would love to see a workshop happen here similarly to the
Boston Python Workshop.
We have a dormant MeetUp group
http://www.meetup.com/CincyPy/events/61553362/
and we also have a chapter of Girl Develop IT which is small but pretty
active. I think they would be open to provide support as well.

We have an active though somewhat small dynamic languages group that often
focuses on python in the Dayton area however that is often prohibitively
far for Cincinnatians to attend on a regular basis.
I would be more than willing to help coordinate this effort however I don't
know where to start and don't think I could do this alone. I am pretty much
a newbie at python, I am working my way through the O'Reilly Technology
classes.
Thank you very much for any help you may be able to give or for forwarding
this to the proper channels of someone who may be able to offer some
guidance.
