[Ccsf-campus-staff] next steps for the event in September

Hi Shauna,

1) Who are the main organizers/contacts for the event?

We're actually having a Google Hangout session at 7pm tonight, and
I'll collect everyone's full names and contact details for you, and get
them to request to join ccsf-campus-staff.

2) Is everything set with the room? (I'm assuming you've got the same room
as last time.)

Booked the same room. Call tonight to discuss WiFi issues, getting
funding for food & OpenHatch honorarium (what's your current rate now?
last we spoke it was $250-500, and we've managed to get $500 each time).

3) Mozilla is interested in having mentors at your event and possibly
forming an ongoing relationship with folks. Are you all interested? If
so, I'll do some email introductions.

Yes, definitely interested. Who would this be?

Currently in contact with Larissa Shapiro <
http://www.linkedin.com/in/larissashapiro > since I'm organizing open
source meetups for
        Women Who Code <
http://www.meetup.com/Women-Who-Code-SF/events/195850392/ > around the next
round of the
GNOME Outreach Program for Women < http://gnome.org/opw >.

4) Did we want to make any significant curriculum changes?

We'll talk about that tonight. Thinking about splitting the room
in half, beginner being lead through the curriculum in the back,
more experienced in the back broken out into round tables based on
what they're working on doing basically an all day contribution workshop.
We'd all join together for the panel & lunch, and the more
experienced would be encouraged to help the beginners during the afternoon
section of the contribution workshop.

More soon,

Katherine
