Dear [Insert Professor]

I am writing with regard to an upcoming Open Source workshop at Princeton
on November 22nd from 10AM to 5PM. The Open Source at Princeton team was
hoping that you could spread our announcement to [insert class] since we
believe that COS students would benefit from applying their programming
skills to real world projects. Not only would they see the many tangible
applications of coding, but they will be challenged to explore areas not
covered in class.

This workshop starts by acclimating students to the Open Source environment
and the second half connects students with mentors from prominent tech
firms. We feel that it is a great way for students to learn how to
contribute and then be guided through the process.

Please let me know if you would be willing to announce this workshop to
your class and if so, whether email, piazza, the course page, etc would be
preferred. I will then send you a formatted announcement accordingly.

Thank you for your time and consideration!

Best regards,

Catherine Wu
