Re: Adding new people to the list
---I've just asked Chas, Jesse, and Ryan for their preferred emails, and
then I'm happy to add them to the list.

I don't think we'll have much attrition, because the cohort students are
frankly required to attend (they're really excited though, don't worry!) We
also have about 5 non-cohort students signed up, who are generally older
and more experienced. They are also generally tutors at Hartnell or CSUMB.

I agree that we have a little more room than expected. I will do a bit more
outreach.

Oops! I already gave myself stuff! I'll change that...

I think that starting set-up at 10:30 and ending the core time at 3:30 is
great. Then the 3:30-6pm time for potential extra contributions sounds
good. At least 1 of the volunteers I recruited may not be able to stay much
after 3:30.

Small groups sounds like an awesome plan. The room has moveable long
tables... I'll scope out the room to make sure it's okay for small groups.

The general schedule looks fantastic. When I emailed CSUMB people involved
in open source, I learned about some OS projects maintained on campus that
students can contribute to. I'm getting more info on Wednesday. I think
that sharing this info can help make the point that open source is
happening right here, not just in Silicon Valley or San Francisco.

Thanks!
