Hey Guido! Thanks for asking. (There's also a good discussion going on in
#openhatch on irc.freenode.net)
This email was us tossing ideas around about how OpenHatch can
1) encourage people to be active in Open Source
2) Have more of a presence out in the world
and
3) Do so while having a smaller software footprint that requires less
maintenance.
I don't think any of us want the content and resources of OpenHatch to
disappear entirely in favor of the campus events, we just want to make sure
everyone is spending their time where it will be most impactful.
