[OH-Dev] Alternatives to our web forum

I didn't even realize that there was a Web forum.
From a learner's perspective, I would like to be redirected to a place that could answer my questions. IRC, reddit, mailing list.
I vaguely remember someone talking about making an IRC mission. A good idea :-)

How often do people use the forums for help with training missions? Are they used for anything else at all, and if so, what and how often?
If it's just training missions, and it's not too frequent, I feel like either pinning a training mission thread on r/openhatch (can you do that on subreddits? maybe not) or just directing people to IRC would be enough.

Having not used the forums, but taking your message at face value, I'm quite the fan of the Stack Exchange meritocracies.
