[OH-Dev] What would it mean for OpenHatch to be feature-complete?

Hey all,

I had a great conversation with Michael Stone this evening, and he urged
us to make a document explaining what it would mean for the project to be
"feature complete".

Wikipedia explains the term as meaning, "A feature complete version of a
software is not yet final, but contains all intended functionality of the
final version."

We've done a lot of great work on the site, and I've enjoyed our
time-based releases. I think our Roadmap from a few months ago is not
concrete enough, and it's time to make a more solid document that explains
where we want the project to go.

I'm going to go to sleep now and wake up early in the morning and present
something at our weekly meeting along these lines.

I will be keeping http://openetherpad.org/feature-complete up to date with
my thoughts. I'm sending this out now in case others want to review it,
add to it, or who knows what.

Read http://openetherpad.org/feature-complete and let me know what you
think.

See you all at the weekly meeting!

-- Asheesh.
