Okay, cool.  I'm going to stop contacting potential mentors, then, since it
seems like we won't need more than 3-4.

You should definitely get confirmations from the sign-ups you do have.

W/r/t to the 30 or so contacts on the old Publicity Spreadsheet -- I looked
at the Facebook group and didn't see an announcement (<
https://www.facebook.com/groups/PurdueCS/>).  Are you pretty sure most of
those places got pinged?  Perhaps we should put another announcement in the
FB group?
