Hey Catherine,
I think now is a good time to start publicity. We have a sign-up site ready
(http://princeton.openhatch.org/), and people have settled back into their
routines. For easy reference, here's the list
<https://docs.google.com/a/princeton.edu/document/d/16Mk-px_K72FjiLrp0VMmZKzDTLyBufKMXOc7o-sx2Ek/edit>
we
made:
   -
   Goal: 150 signups, 70 attendees
   -
-Ask Dean Bogucki to advertise to all BSE students (a week before)
   -
-post flyers around Friend and CS building (Friend 101, CS around
   assignments, right after break)
   -
-table toppers in dining halls (a week before)
   -
   -email to csugrad (1.5 week)
   -
-post in the cs facebook group (one a month before and perhaps one or
two more as the event approaches)
   -
-facebook event (after sign up website)
   -
   -email to ACM (2-3 times)
   -
   -email to OSAP (2-3 times)

   -
eating clubs (cap, ti, colonial, charter, terrace,
   -
try to reach math and physics majors
   -
   grad students?
   -
princeton python + cs grad students +
   -
      sciences grad students: K
      -
-contact cos126, 226, 217, and perhaps more profs to see if they can
advertise over email to their classes (a week before? not sure)
   -
-putting flyers in random places as well?
   -
   TODO: send Cat Shauna’s templates
   -
NOTE: don't use the bare link, use a link shortener (goo.gl, bit.ly)
How would you like to start?
Best,
Lisha
