[WMF-outreach-staff] Who wants to run a Git/Gerrit tutorial?

Hi Roan and Chad!

Which one of you is willing to do a 1 hour Git/Gerrit tutorial for the
Hackathon?

I'd love to see it take place Tuesday, and perhaps to repeat the tutorial
on Wednesday.

There's some other resources that you can surely work forward from:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Git/Tutorial
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Berlin_Hackathon_2012

Separately, there's the question of helping people feel empowered.

After the tutorial is over, it would be nice to give people concrete
things to do now that they have this knowledge. For example:

- People who have extensions that they maintain in svn or on the
wiki should move them into Git/Gerrit

- Doing code review for others' extensions and/or MediaWiki changes

- ??

(if you can think of other things that suddenly people have the capacity
to do, once they understand Git/Gerrit, that'd be awesome.)
