[WFS-India] Aspects of Teaching Free Software in India

Any course in a free s/w tool should be expected to transmit the
spirit of independent thinking and action to students. But a systemic
problem is the general attitude of students towards education.

A very small percentage of those who attend FOSS workshops and courses
actually end up pursuing it further. Often they lack confidence and
motivation. A key reason is gender-dependent conditioning.

Teaching strategies should therefore depend on gender. We need to
explore this in more detail.

To start with, the rat of rat race is different from the nun of a religion.
