Is there a real point here, or are you being pedantic just for the heck of it?

a) there is hardly any real content (which will of course addressed
over time) on the site to justify such fine classifications at the
moment. Lets have a huddle rather than having the 'butter spread too
thinly'

b) consider the intended demographics - are you trying to be 'open and
inviting' or 'confusing'?

c) let the users (and no, you are not a target user) come up and file
a 'bug'  that the content need to be re-classified.

d) Let the growth be organic rather than dictated.

personally, anything akin to a tag cloud and a search interface is just fine.
