Ooh, this is great! I like the personal tone a lot - it makes it fun to read. And that second photo is especially good, super focused despite sitting on the floor.

I'd probably change "I felt badly" to "I felt bad"; that's the more common form of this phrase, although there's no definitive answer for which is correct - http://dianahacker.com/bedhandbook6e/subpages/badbadly.html
