Hi,
We teach scientists basic software development skills: automating tasks
in the Unix shell, structured program development in Python, version
control (because... version control), testing, and a bit of SQL or
regular expressions. All our materials are online at
http://software-carpentry.org/4_0/, and you can take a look at the
incomplete instructor's guide at https://github.com/swcarpentry/guide.git.
Thanks,
Greg
