[Ccsf-campus-staff] next steps for the event in September

Hi folks,
I wanted to make sure you knew that I'll be on vacation from Aug 15th to
31st. You've already done this before, so I'm sure you'll get along fine
without me -- and I will be responding to emails, just delayed. (If you
need anything quickly from me, put URGENT in the subject line.) If you do
need in depth feedback from me for anything, I suggest we take care of it
next week.
The next big step is to make the publicity website. It's actually a pretty
small step, all things considered. You can see instructions here:
https://openhatch.org/wiki/Open_Source_Comes_to_Campus/Logistics/Publicity_Website
We should also start to nail down the curriculum, so we can start finding
mentors to lead each part. You can see the default curriculum here:
http://example-osctc-site.github.io/curriculum/
It sounds like you want to stick to the default curriculum for newcomers,
but also have a section for more experienced folks. Did you want to do any
special activities with them, or basically extend the contributions
workshop through the day?
As soon as I send this email, I'm going to do an email intro with the
Mozilla folks, so keep an eye out for that.
best
Shauna
