Hi Elena (and all reading this),
To clarify, we're actually not planning to visit any schools this fall.
The interest in Open Source Comes to Campus has been amazing, but it's far
more than we can handle if we're physically attending every event. So
we've been focused on putting all of our materials - curriculum, planning,
etc - online. This blog post
<http://openhatch.org/blog/2013/open-source-comes-to-campus/> discusses our
reasoning and goals, if you're interested.
We've had a lot of success with this methodology. We've had five events
run without any of us present, and several more where Asheesh or I
functioned as a mentor.
The three weekends I quoted are dates where we'll be running multiple
events simultaneously (we've also successfully done this, this past
spring). We can definitely reserve you a spot on that September weekend!
Please keep me updated, and let me know if you have any questions - I'm
happy to answer in as much detail as needed. :)
best
Shauna
