I?ll be leading an ?Open Source 101? workshop on the 8th, and a lunchtime ?table topic? on open source on the 9th. I would love to meet up with any alumni who are attending. - PyCon is one of the friendliest and most diverse open source conferences. It includes tutorials and workshops, three days of talks and open spaces, and up to four days of sprints at the end of the conference. Join OpenHatch at the conference! While the call for talks has closed, you can still submit a poster. Join us for a brainstorming session on #openhatch Weds Oct 1st at 8pm eastern/5pm pacific. - Alterconf sessions are ?hyper-local events educating the greater tech and gaming communities about the different aspects of diversity and how marginalization becomes an impediment.
