Hi folks,

ITA Software and Google are generously sponsoring space and food for the 3rd
Boston Python Workshop for women and their friends.

When:
- Friday, July 8th, 6pm-9pm
- Saturday, July 9th, 9:30am-4:30pm

Where:
- Google, 5 Cambridge Center, Cambridge

Format
- probably fairly similar to the 2nd workshop: Friday night setup +
self-directed tutorial, Saturday morning lecture, Saturday afternoon
projects in breakout rooms
- we have space for 40 attendees

If you're wondering why the BPW corner has been quiet, it's because we've
moved our planning to lists.openhatch.org/mailman/listinfo/bpw-staff.

If you are interested in staffing this event, let me know!

You can see feedback from attendees of the 2nd workshop and follow-up
project night at:
- Workshop: http://meetup.bostonpython.com/events/17433132/
- Project night: http://meetup.bostonpython.com/events/17802791/

An example of the wonderful, encouraging feedback we've been getting:

"""
This weekend's project-driven Python workshop was phenomenal! The rockstar
instructors/staff were skilled programmers and great teachers - clear,
helpful, and enthusiastic - adept at tailoring content to many experience
levels. I appreciated the workshop's structure and flow - the setup, group
lecture, and range of small group projects (Wordplay, ColorWall, and
Twitter). The twitter module was a highlight - Python + Twitter API FTW!
Also, huge thanks to HubSpot for sponsoring and hosting the workshop - it
was an ideal venue! Looking forward to follow-up Project Night on Friday.
"""

Thank you to everyone who helped staff the second workshop, and good luck to
all of the other upcoming workshops! I know that at least Philadelphia and
Minneapolis are running events this month.
