[Devel] Focus

All,

I just read Asheesh notes on why it is important to focus
(http://www.asheesh.org/scribble/people/pay-attention.html) and it
rang very true for me as well. Unfortunately, work is crazy right now
and I have a lot of things going on career-wise. This has meant that
most of my spare time has been studying for things I use at work, or
beginning a new certification track. I keep telling myself that I
will make time for Openhatch, but I see that I am spread way too thin
and likely will not do anything well as a result.

I need to take a little hiatus while I settle things down a little. I
love OH and being involved with this project, so I plan to stick
around and be a part of the community at the least. Hopefully in a
few months things will calm down some and I can get back on track
committing to the project. Maybe I can even help with some smaller
documentation/bug triage things as I have time to help out!

That being said, I am going to open up the API task for whoever would
like to work on them. After looking at several options, my personal
suggestion is try implementing them with tastypie. If no one works on
them before I can get back to contributing code, I'll pick it up then.

Like I said, I'll be around and part of the community, so if anyone
has questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Mark
